Hapag Lloyd Container Line (Hapag-Lloyd Canada) has been calling on the Port of Halifax on a regular basis since 1978. Throughout this time Hapag-Lloyd has increased it’s volumes moving through the Port. Hapag-Lloyd presently moves the largest volumes by an individual line calling at the Port of Halifax. Recently, Hapag-Lloyd has purchased CP Ships, and this has moved Hapag-Lloyd to the position of being one of the top 5 worldwide container carriers.
The Line looks forward to continued callings at the Port of Halifax and anticipates increased volumes in the coming years.
